The Lattice MXEdge Switch is a portable fingerboard built for serious climbers seeking comfort and control in their training. Its ergonomic edge design enables both two-arm hangs and single-arm pick-ups, offering unmatched versatility. Ideal for warm-ups or strength sessions, whether indoors or out.
Features:
- ONE OF A KIND EDGE
The MXEdge is not just another portable hangboard. it’s engineered for performance and built for comfort. Developed through a comprehensive ergonomic study, Lattice tested seven key variables to discover the most comfortable edge shape, helping climbers pull harder and make the most of their training. Lattice has spent hundreds of hours researching ergonomics, usability, and peak force production – collaborating with pro athletes, world-class coaches, and industry professionals – to develop this unique edge geometry that feels better in your hand.
- DROP POCKETS
Pocket-specific training on a compact board. Unlike a flat edge, our drop pockets curve up and around the fingers (just like regular pockets!), distributing pressure over a larger surface area and allowing you to nestle your finger.
- SWITCH IT UP
Ready for overhead hangs or off-the-floor pick ups, the MxEdge Switch is your all-in-one portable hangboard. With an initiative and easy adjustment system, all you need to do is turn the switch 180 and pull the cord through to use the different edges. The stable cord attachment keeps the centre of load in line with the centre of the edge to prevent the board from tipping when loaded.

MxEdge & MxEdge "Switch" FAQ
- What is the max load?
Answer: 225 kg
- Is this the same edge size as the MxEdge Lift?
Answer: The MxEdge Switch features the MX22 and MX12 which are found on the Large MXEdge Lift. Lattice's MXEdges have the same surface area as a standard edge but have a varied front radius and edge depth giving them their unique, comfortable shape.
- Do you have any information on the R&D?
Answer: Yes, check out these articles: What makes the Lattice Training MXEdge different from other edges? (Part 1) | How Lattice Training Developed The MXEdge (Part 2)
- Why are the MxEdge sizes not listed in mm?
Answer: Due to the unique geometry of the MxEdge design, the true depth of each edge varies across its length. To avoid confusion, Lattice has listed the edge sizes with the MXEdges to indicate their equivalent edge size based on the surface area available for the fingers. For example, an MX18 has a similar surface area as a regular, straight 18mm edge. In reality, because of the improved ergonomics of the MxEdge design, the MX18 will often yield the same load scores as a 20-22mm edge (depending on the individual).
- What does ‘MX’ stand for?
Answer: Mixed variable edge.
