How I choose the correct size?
All climbing shoe models fit differently. We put together our 'shoeculator' to help you find the
right size in a new model, compared to your old climbing shoes or street shoes.
Choose from the options below to find your size in the Boreal Ace
Climbing Shoe
OR
Street Shoe
This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch
more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.
The Boreal Ace was a classic and now it's back with using Boreal's latest technology! Anyone who remembers this shoe will have a little tear in their eye like welcoming the return of a long lost friend. The Ace is the perfect trad and crack shoe. It has a low volume last with a slightly downturn shape and symmetrical toe. Although the shoe will fit a wide range of foot shapes. the toe box will fit foot shapes with a long second toe particularly well, yet it won't let you down when searching out pocket footholds, you will always get an ace in the hole.
The upper is leather with secure, adjustable lace closure and a rubber toe patch to protect your foot when torquing them into jamming cracks and for secure toe hooks.
The Ace features a stiffer midsole for supoort on micro-edges and on long routes or multi-pitches. The 4-4.5mm rubber used is the same as in the Boreal pro range, sticky Zenith Pro™ rubber for grip when edging or making delicate friction moves.
Whether your heart lies in the Eastern grit edges, monolith granite splitters or sandstone towers, always have an Ace up your sleeve.
