Edelrid, a renowned manufacturer of technical mountaineering gear since the 1950s, underwent a change in ownership in 2001, stepping back from the climbing market for a while. Now part of the VAUDE group and operating independently, Edelrid is charting a new path forward. Their mission, reflected in the slogan "Unfolding the future," is to develop and produce products such as slings, carabiners, quickdraws, and more, that will define the future of climbing.
