Black Diamond Camalot C4 - 2

Here it is, the C4 cam slightly transformed....for 2019. Now 10% lighter, yet just as durable, the lobes have been made lighter by sculpting them more to optimise strength to weight ratio. These bad boys outclass the beloved third generation of Black Diamond Camalots, now with a wider trigger for easier handling and the slings have been updated visually for easier identification. The Black Diamond Camalots’ double-axle design allows retraction of larger cam lobes, giving them a much larger expansion range than traditional single-axle units. Because loading forces are shared between both axles, this design has the strength to work as a full-strength cam stop, allowing the cam to function as passive pro if it walks back into a wider part of a crack and umbrellas. This is the fourth generation of Black Diamond Camalots and they just keep getting better—they are 40-percent lighter than the originals, the cable loop and trigger are easy to grab, and the slings are large enough to manipulate with gloves.
